Thyborøn

At the fishing town with 2,000 inhabitants, the powerful North Sea meets the calm Limfjord. From Høfde 59, there is a view out towards the North Sea’s wild and rugged waves. With a slight turn of the head, you can see Thyborøn Canal, the gateway to the Limfjord.

In Thyborøn, you can experience raw nature up close, both above and below the water, and museums tell the stories. Relax on a walk along the dunes on the white sandy beaches, or sit down by the quay and watch the activities in the harbour.
