Sdr. Bjert churchyard is a small and charming churchyard, probably older than the 12th-century church. The churchyard is situated on high ground and offers a beautiful view over the valley area by Binderup Møllebæk to the north. With its old trees and shrubs, the churchyard has a park-like character and provides a natural habitat for birds that nest in the tall trees.
