The historic Salten Watermill in the forest is now partly ruined and has been transformed into a stream. The charm of this place lies in the picturesque road through the ravine.
From the car park where the stream runs under the road, follow the gravel road for about 300 metres, continue past an open area and down a hill until you come to a small path on the right-hand side. This path leads to the watermill.
As you follow the current, you will find an abandoned brick tower whose former purpose is unknown. It can be challenging to walk along the stream, so it is recommended that you return to the gravel path.
Continue along the gravel road to reach a lake, and follow the road to the left to find a boathouse. Continue along the gravel road, and you will emerge into an open area with a beautiful "castle". The road ends at two gravel roads marked with the signs 18-20 and leads back to the car park.
This secluded place sees little traffic, as the watermill is hidden behind the trees, making it an ideal spot for those seeking solitude and peace in the forest.
