In the Nature District, Ringkøbing makes use of the short distance between the fjord, nature and the town to develop a diverse and sustainable district. The Nature District covers 84 hectares, where over the next 30 years up to a total of 1,000 homes can be built.
Here, nature comes before the houses. Before the construction of the first homes began, the entire area was transformed into one large recreational nature area with meadows, woodland, lakes, berry gardens, fruit groves and trail systems. To increase the area's attraction value, a nature playground and a cable ferry have been established, among other things, and a viewing platform is on the way.
