Lydum Church is a Romanesque church from around the year 1200, originally built of tuff stone. Inside the church is a large modern fresco by Jens Urup, showing scenes from the life of Jesus. There is also a unique altarpiece from 1581 with coats of arms. The church has an open burial crypt and interesting old gravestones in the churchyard.
Although regular church services are no longer held, the church can still be used for baptisms, weddings, funerals and other ceremonies if the pastor is contacted well in advance. The church is therefore still in use whenever the residents of the parish wish it.
