Lønborg Church is situated high on Lønborg Hill and offers the most fantastic view over the vast wetland area. Below the hill you can see the new, winding Skjern River, and in clear weather you can see all the way to the dunes by the North Sea. It is a good place to start a visit to the Skjern Enge area.
Enjoy the view over Skjern Enge, but be sure to step inside this beautiful church as well. The church is particularly known for its frescoes and has a carillon that can be heard far out across the meadows.
There is parking, as well as tables and benches, and an information board has been set up. It is a good starting point for many walks in the area.
