Lock Tower Over the Marsh

Behind the grass dike, the distinctive lock tower of the Vidå sluice rises as part of the raw concrete structure at Højer. The round room at the top originally served as accommodation and control room, while the roof is now used as a public viewing platform over the marsh, the sluice and the Wadden Sea

The tower roof provides access to a view about four meters higher than the dike
