Creative Festival in Tambours Have

Crafts among the garden beds

The Creative Festival fills Tambours Have with stalls, creative activities and artisans showing off their work. Here, it is not only about finished items on a table, but also about techniques, materials and hands that know their craft.

The festival is described with creativity, community and stalls at its center, making it best suited to visitors who want to get close to the craftsmanship rather than simply stop by a sales booth.

A garden as the setting

What makes the festival special is its location. Tambours Have is not a neutral event venue, but a visitor garden created by master tailor Gerhard Tambour in the West Jutland countryside by Karlsgårde Sø. Between the festival activities, you can move through the garden’s different sections, including Lillehaven, Storhaven, Langhaven, Japanhaven and Medicinhaven.

Food, breaks and practical calm

The café sells light lunches, cakes, ice cream and drinks, among other things, but you are also allowed to bring your own food and drink into the garden. This makes it easier to shape the festival visit according to energy level, weather and appetite. Dogs are allowed on a leash, and there is a water bowl for four-legged guests by the café.
