Churches with extra substance

The range is the strength: Romanesque village churches, coastal churches with restless predecessors, a market-town church in the middle of Varde, and newer churches from the growth of the heath and railway towns. Aal Church stands out with its dramatic cavalcade frieze, Henne Church with dense medieval furnishings, and Sct. Jacobi in Varde tells the story of a market town that once had more than one parish church.
