The Royal Kitchen Garden at Graasten Palace opened to the public in 2020. The kitchen garden supplies fruit and vegetables for the royal dining table.
A shop with a café has been set up in the gardener’s building, where visitors can buy a limited selection of food and drink.
The Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces is responsible for operating both the palace garden and the kitchen garden. In the kitchen garden, the gardeners receive valuable help from volunteers and employees from the social psychiatric programme “Væksthuset”.
