Sa Dragonera is located off the port town of Sant Elm on Mallorca’s west coast. The island is 4km long and uninhabited.
From the ports of Sant Elm and Andratx, a tour boat runs to the island during the summer season, offering hiking routes of varying difficulty. You can also visit one of the island’s lighthouses or go for a swim in the sea.
There are many lizards on the island, but it is probably the island’s resemblance to a dragon that gave the island its name.
