Blochsgård is an excellent starting point for a family trip into the unique nature around Kærgård and Filsø. The site’s packed-lunch house, toilet, campfire area and shelters are built on the site of the old Blochsgård, whose cobblestone-paved courtyard can still be seen. For many years, the farm was home to the dune plantation forester.
One of the three pavilions is fitted out with two large shelters and is primarily intended for schools and institutions. When the shelters are not occupied, everyone is welcome to use them. However, only schools and institutions can book in advance.
Both a long hiking route (yellow) and a short hiking route (red) start from the site.
Premium Hiking Route Blochsgård
In 2022, an 8 km certified hiking route with breathtaking nature opened at Blochsgård. The hiking route, which takes about 3 hours, leads you through one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Denmark. It starts at Blochsgård Nature Base and passes through the central part of Kærgård Plantage, down to Børsmose Strand and back again through the dune landscape.
