Billum Church

A giant from Ål once threw a stone at Billum Church, causing the tower roof to become flat. Another giant also had it in for the church, but his stone only hit the churchyard wall. Today, the bell tower once again has a pointed roof, but the stone bearing the imprint of five giant fingers can still be seen in the wall.

The church shares several common features with Janderup Church. The altarpiece is a smaller version of the Janderup altarpiece, and there are traces of frescoes by the Lily Master, who also decorated Janderup Church.
