150 mThe small tortoiseshell in Søparken
Hvorfor? Ligger i Søparken og giver et konkret insektspor i de vilde kanter langs den korte runde.
Ansager Lake Park is a short waterside loop where the town quickly loosens its grip. The path follows lake shores, Ansager Å and small bridges, and along the way there are places where you can sit close to the water without being far from the houses.
The area is not trimmed perfectly smooth. In several places, grasses and flowers are allowed to grow more freely, so the walk changes character with the season: bright beech trees in spring, wildflowers in summer and falling leaves in autumn.
The quiet river and lake landscape has a rather down-to-earth backstory. A fish farm used to be located here, and that is precisely why the water surfaces now lie as a green wedge through Ansager.
In the autumn of 2020, Ansager Lake Park was made more suitable for spending time in. Five picnic table-and-bench sets and two benches were installed as part of the completion of the area.
They are positioned in harmony with the paths, bridges, planting and water, providing fixed places for packed lunches, breaks and short stops on the walk around the lakes.
